Realme To Launch The First Dimensity 810 Smartphone

MediaTek today announced the Dimensity 810 SoC, and it looks like Realme will be the first brand to launch devices equipped with this chipset.

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth reposted MediaTek’s posts about Dimensity 810 and asked customers and fans whether they would like this mobile phone manufacturer to release Dimensity 810-equipped devices first.

Although Sheth did not disclose any smartphones based on the Realme Dimensity 810, it is most likely the Realme 8 that was leaked last month.

reported that Realme 8s will be equipped with a 90 Hz 6.5-inch display, but did not disclose the panel type and resolution, nor did it disclose whether there are holes or notches.

We can see the back of 8, but they have a rectangular island with a flash and three cameras. The main camera uses a 64-megapixel sensor, but we have no information about the other two devices. It is said that the 8s has a 16 MP module and a 5000 mAh battery under the hood with a charging capacity of 33 W.

Realme 8s will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box and the two RAM options are 6GB and 8GBGB. It also has a virtual memory expansion function called Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) in Realme Realms.

It will have 128GB or 256GB storage options, support 5G connection and side fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, mm and USBC port.
