According to the folks at SamMobile, this won’t happen from one night to the next. According to the insider, Samsung will take a few years to embrace Google’s new open-source operating system. This is likely to happen with other businesses as well. According to previous claims, Fuchsia was set to become Google’s Android alternative. For the time being, it’s impossible to say whether Fuchsia OS will ship with One UI or another Samsung-developed overlay. Because Fuchsia is an open source operating system, the Korean company could easily put its skin and functionalities to it.

Samsung will not be the only manufacturer to adopt Fuchsia
The change isn’t purely coincidental. As previously stated, it’s all part of Google’s grand strategy to migrate to a new platform. Unlike Android, Fuchsia will utilize a new code named Zircon instead of the Linux kernel code. Fuchsia is being developed by Google to run on a wide range of smart devices, including wearables, smartphones, tablets, PCs, and the Internet of Things. As a test run, it was already used for the Nest hub.

As a result, as previously stated, Samsung may not be the only manufacturer abandoning Android. If Google can make Fucshia a viable alternative to Android, it will promote it via its Pixel smartphones, which will come preloaded with the new OS.
