Galaxy A52 5G Gets Android 12 And One UI 4.0 Update

Samsung updated the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52s 5G to Android 12 earlier this week. Users of the Galaxy A52 5G felt left out. The company has now begun to roll out the Android 12 update to the Galaxy A52 5G.

In Europe, the One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy A52 5G (SM-A526B) based on Android 12 has been published. The upgrade includes the January 2022 security patch and firmware version A526BXXU1BUL7. In other regions of the world, Samsung could deliver the important new software upgrade very soon.

If you own a Galaxy A52 5G and live in Europe, you may have already received a notification about the latest update. If you haven’t received it yet, go to Settings » Software update and touch on Download and install to manually check for it. You can also manually flash the latest firmware file by downloading it from our firmware database.

Features of the Android 12 upgrade for the Galaxy A52 5G The One UI 4.0 version features a slightly revised UI design, new widget style, more widget choices, enhanced AoD, and Dark Mode, as well as the Material You-inspired Color Palette feature. New lock screen widgets are also available. Thanks to privacy indications and simple setting toggles for camera and microphone access, privacy and security have been improved.
