VivoThis month, vivo released seven new smartphones: the Y21T, V23, V23 Pro, Y33T, Y21e, Y55 5G, and Y21A. Today, vivo announced a new smartphone, the vivo Y75 5G, bringing the total number of smartphones to eight. Because of their excellent features and low pricing, the vivo Y and V series are quite popular among young people.

The vivo Y75 5G, on the other hand, isn’t a completely new smartphone. It’s the Y55 5G, which has more RAM and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The Y55 5G features 4GB of RAM and an 8MP selfie camera, while the Y75 5G has a 16MP selfie camera and 8GB (+ 4GB virtual) RAM.
The rest of the Vivo Y75 5G’s specs include a Dimensity 700 SoC, 6.58″ FullHD+ LCD, Funtouch OS 12 (presumably based on Android 11), 128GB storage (expandable up to 1TB), and a camera system on the rear comprising 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units.
The vivo Y75 5G comes with a 5,000mAh battery that can draw up to 18W of power via a USB-C connector, as well as a fingerprint scanner on the side for password-free unlocking.
The Y75 5G is available in India for INR21,990 ($290/€260) through vivo’s official Indian website and partner retail outlets in Starlight Black and Glowing Galaxy hues.
