Tecno Spark 8C Launched In Nigeria With 90Hz Display And 5000mAh Battery

In Nigeria, Tecno has just released a new low-cost smartphone. The brand, which is owned by Transsion Holdings, is redoubling its efforts in crucial regions like Nigeria. The Tecno Spark 8C is a new smartphone from the firm. This is the fifth handset in the 8 series, which is interesting. The Tecno Spark 8, Spark 8P, Spark 8 Pro, and Spark 8T were initially introduced. Tecno has released the Tecno Spark 8C, while Infinix is preparing to launch its first 5G phone.

For the time being, the Spark 8C is only available in Nigeria, but we expect additional markets, such as India, will get it soon. In India and other Asian regions, Tecno has been growing its influence. As a result, the Spark 8C may not be available in Nigeria for a long time.

Tecno Spark 8C specifications
The Tecno Spark 8C has a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 1,612 x 720-pixel HD+ resolution. The gadget sports a waterdrop notch at the top, which houses the device’s 8 MP selfie camera. Despite the poor resolution, a refresh rate of at least 90 Hz is desirable when considering the display’s size. As a result, when browsing around the UI and applications, the animations will remain smooth.

A rectangular camera island can be found on the device’s rear. It is used to house a dual-camera configuration. Only the primary sensor is advertised as having a 13 MP resolution and an aperture of f/1.8. On the other side, the secondary snapper is an AI lens. An LED flash unit is also housed in the camera module. HDR Mode, AR Stickers, Time-Lapse mode, AI Scene Recognition, Bokeh mode, and other functions are included in the rear camera system.

A fingerprint scanner is positioned on the back of the phone, next to the camera sensors. The phone also has AI face unlock, allowing you to choose your preferred biometric identification technique. The handset is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood. Unfortunately, no mention of fast-charging support has been made. As a result, we anticipate a 10 W charging limit. A micro SD card slot allows us to expand the storage capacity of this device.

The specific chipset behind this handset has yet to be revealed by the firm. However, rumors point to a Unisoc T610 Octa-Core processor. The gadget, on the other hand, is advertised as having 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Memory Fusion is also included, which allows you to practically extend the RAM.

Tecno is expected to deliver this device to India in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for further information.
