Realme 9 Pro Duo Confirmed To Launch With Realme UI 3.0 (Android 12)

It should come as no surprise that the impending Realme 9 Pro duo will ship with Realme UI 3.0, which is based on Android 12. That version is already available on the Realme 9i, while the Pro variants have more powerful chipsets.

The Dimensity 920 has been confirmed to be used by the Realme 9 Pro+ (6 nm, two Coretx-A78 cores, Mali-G68 MC4). Although it hasn’t been officially announced, the Snapdragon 695 processor is believed to power the Realme 9 Pro (6 nm, two A78 derived cores, Adreno 619). The Snapdragon 680 is used in the 9i, which is also a 6 nm processor, but with a considerably older CPU architecture and a worse GPU.

A second teaser, this time in the shape of a short music video, was released today. It concentrates on the camera and its key feature, the 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). Realme believes that this camera is capable of competing with flagship cameras. In any case, the chameleon’s back is featured in the video.

On February 16 (Wednesday next week), the Realme 9 Pro duo will be completely presented, and launch dates for India and maybe Europe are expected to be announced (though that may be part of a separate event).
