The Xiaomi CIVI is the company’s only lifestyle smartphone at the moment. It is only available in China. The MIUI 13 upgrade for the premium mid-ranger is now available. Android 12 is also included in the most recent system upgrade for the handset.
At the Xiaomi 12 series launch event at the end of December, Xiaomi launched MIUI 13. Since then, the company has started rolling out the updated version of its mobile operating system to eligible smartphones and tablets.
The latest software, with the build number V18.104.22.168.SKVCNXM, is now available for Xiaomi CIVI. Aside from new MIUI features, the phone’s most recent system upgrade also includes Android 12.
This OTA software update is being pushed out in batches, just like any other OTA software update. To put it another way, some users may receive the update sooner, while others will have to wait longer. In any case, in the next days, everyone should have access to the software.
In late September, the Xiaomi CIVI was released with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. In November, the device was updated to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition. It has now been receiving its first major system update in the form of Android 12-based MIUI 13 for three months.
For mid-range and flagship smartphones, Xiaomi typically delivers two Android upgrades and three MIUI updates. As a result, CIVI is expected to receive another Android update as well as two more MIUI updates in the near future.
