The Redmi Note 10 was released early last year, aimed at consumers searching for high-end features without breaking the bank. It came pre-installed with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 and has remained there ever since — until now.

The Redmi Note 10’s worldwide model received the long-awaited MIUI 13 update based on Android 12 yesterday. It has been joined by its Indian variant, which has also been updated to the same (via Xiaomiui).
The firmware version V13.0.0.6.SKGINXM is included in the upgrade now being rolled out in India, and the changelog is relatively short. The 2.6GB build’s release notes simply highlight enhanced system performance, security, and stability, while new wallpapers and other MIUI 13 delights can be expected as well.

The said MIUI 13 update for the Redmi Note 10 is still in the early stages of rollout, thus it may take some time to reach your smartphone. At the time, it appears to be available only to people who have signed up for the Mi Pilot testing program, but once it has been declared bug-free, it should be made available to everyone.
Still, by going to Settings > About phone > MIUI version and hitting the “Check for updates” button, you may manually check for the latest available software.
