Samsung began releasing its flagship Galaxy S21 series phones without accompanying chargers last year, and the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 as well as the brand new Galaxy S22 series have followed suit. The trend has now been confirmed to extend to the more affordable Galaxy A series, with the US landing pages for the Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A03s confirming the lack of an in-box wall plug.

The shift is also said to be spreading to the Galaxy M-series, confirming prior predictions that Samsung would stop bundling chargers with all new phones. It’s unclear whether the Galaxy A and M-series will be available in more areas outside of the US, but for the time being, that appears to be a safe bet.
