It was the first to gain numerous software enhancements following its launch due to its unique positioning. It was, in fact, the first Samsung cheap smartphone to receive Android 11. It is now receiving the Android 12 upgrade as well.
Samsung has begun seeding the Android 12 update for the Galaxy M31, according to SamMobile. The phone’s current version of Android comes with One UI 4.1 and security upgrades till March 2022.
The update is now available in India. Users in this region can verify the availability of the OTA upgrade on their unit by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Other countries should receive the update in the coming days.
