Infinix Note 12 And 12 Turbo Launched

Another Note 12 variation is out today. We discussed the Infinix Note 12 VIP and Note 12 G96 a few days ago. Infinix has now launched the vanilla Infinix Note 12 and the Infinix Note 12 Turbo in the Indian market. To commemorate the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Note 12 series will include a special packaging. Both smartphones are available in India for less than INR 15,000 each. They have MediaTek Helio chipsets under the hood. AMOLED screens, huge batteries with rapid charging, and other features are included in the latest Infinix smartphones. Let’s explore what these devices have in store without further ado.

The Infinix Note 12 Turbo comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of up to 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The panel also features a screen-to-body ratio of 92 percent. Unfortunately, the panel’s refresh rate is only 60 Hz, which sounds like a thing of the past anymore. In addition, the phone features a 180 Hz touch sampling rate, 1000 nits of peak brightness, Widevine L1 compatibility, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC once again. Infinix’s favored chipset is supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The phone has a triple-camera configuration, including a 50 MP f/1.6 primary camera. Additional 2 MP shooters are available for macro and depth sensing. The phone sports a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Note is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with only a 33W rapid charging capability.

The Infinix Note 12 Turbo runs XOS 10.6, which this time comes pre-installed with Android 12. The device is available in two colorways: Force Black and Snowfall.

In the vanilla Note 12, there aren’t many surprises. The handset has the same 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate as the previous model. A 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W of quick charging is also included, as is the camera equipment. Performance is the most significant difference. The MediaTek Helio G88 SoC is used in the phone, positioned below the Helio G96. The phone includes the same 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, the inclusion of Android 11 as the underlying Android version is the most alarming detail. However, the business claims that an Android 12 upgrade will be available in August.
