Infinix has revealed that it would be the first to release a smartphone powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC, which was debuted alongside the Dimensity 930 and Dimensity 1050 earlier this month.

Infinix hasn’t said much about the world’s first Helio G99-powered smartphone, but it has confirmed that it will be part of the Note 12 lineup.

The Helio G99 is built on TSMC’s 6nm technology and features 2x Cortex-A76 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz and 6x Cortex A-55 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2GHz. It also includes a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics-intensive operations like gaming and video editing.
