Here’s When Your Galaxy S21 Can Get Samsung’s One UI 4.0 Beta

Early this morning, a Samsung community manager accidentally posted a banner for the company’s Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta program. The banner indicates that the first beta version of One UI 4.0 of the Galaxy S21 series is “coming soon.” However, the company has made it clear that the Beta testing process for One UI 4.0 will only begin in “September and October” (via TizenHelp).

This means that a stable update based on Android 12 One UI 4.0 may be rolled out to the company’s best Android phone sometime in the fourth quarter of this year. About two months later, One UI 3.0 transitioned from the beta version to the stable state of the Galaxy S20 series last year. In early October, Samsung launched One UI 3.0, a beta program based on Android 11, for the Galaxy S20 series. The

One UI 4.0 beta program is expected to be launched to Samsung’s Android 2020 flagship products a few weeks after the Galaxy S21 series is launched, including the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy S21 FE are also expected to be part of the One UI 4.0 beta program.

According to Chun (@chunvn8888), the Samsung One UI 4.0 update will bring some major changes to the application icon and overall color scheme. Insiders also suggested that Samsung will adopt the Materia You design language in Android 12 in the next major version of One UI.

Galaxy S21 is more cost-effective than Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, and its size is smaller. Even if it doesn’t have 108 MP camera or S Pen support, you can still get an excellent flagship experience.
