Motorola Launches Tab G70, With 11-inch LCD Display

In the Brazilian market, Motorola has just released a new tablet. This comes just a day after India’s Flipkart listed the same tablet under the name Motorola Tab G70. The smartphone will only be available in India on January 18th. However, we already know what the smartphone will bring to the table thanks to its unveiling in Brazil. The Motorola Tab G70, as planned, further establishes the brand’s identity and presence in the tablet market. Because of the demand, Android tablets are starting to look more appealing again, and Google is finally making an effort to improve the experience with Android 12L. Let’s examine what the Moto Tab G70 has to offer in terms of the hot topic.

The Motorola Tab G70 is ideal for those who enjoy large screens. The tablet features an 11-inch IPS LCD display with a good resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels. It’s quite bright, with a normal brightness of up to 400 nits. Unfortunately, the screen only refreshes at 60 frames per second. However, we don’t see tablets with high refresh rates every day. Motorola has endowed this tablet with a Quad-Speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos modifications to make the entertainment experience more immersive. After all, this is still a Lenovo tablet, so Dolby Atmos should come as no surprise.

In terms of performance, the MediaTek Helio G90T SoC with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage is adequate but aged. Putting the constraints of the outdated 12 nm architecture aside, this is still a competent chipset that will easily handle everyday chores and even some games. It’s worth mentioning that this processor outperforms the Helio G80 found within the Realme Pad, which is also available in India. A micro SD card slot allows you to expand the memory even more.

At the back of the Moto Tab G70 is a single 13 MP camera. A good 8 MP selfie shooter is included for selfies and video calls. The state is powered by a large 7,700 mAh battery that charges at a reasonable 20 W rate through USB Type C. The tablet is also IP52 water resistant and weighs 500 grams, which is unusual. Unfortunately, the tablet’s operating system is still Android 11. At the moment, Android 12 is only available on Samsung tablets.

Pricing
The Motorola Tab G70 is only available in one color: green. It sells for BRL 2,399 in Brazil, which is roughly $433. However, when it comes to costs, Brazil isn’t exactly a benchmark. The country is infamous for its exorbitant electronic taxes. It should be less expensive in India and other areas, otherwise the tablet’s attraction will be ruined. To be honest, $433 is an insufficient price for anything with the Helio G90T. With the correct price, this tablet might be a strong competitor in India for tablets like the Realme Pad.
