Nothing Launcher More Widely Available To Android Devices Running Android 11 And Up

Nothing’s CEO and Co-founder said in March that the company’s Nothing phone (1) would be released in the coming year. It said that it would release a new smartphone later this year with a focus on minimalism and a different ecosystem than those offered by Apple and Samsung.

Nothing has developed a launcher for Android devices that gives us a taste of the kind of minimalism we can anticipate from the company. The beta launcher is now available on more Android devices running Android 11 and newer.

Users can also refer to the “How to Set Up” page for instructions on how to install the launcher. Other updates include making it easy to alter the launcher’s wallpaper and providing a DropBox link for users to download extra wallpapers and alert sounds. This can be found in the settings of the Nothing Launcher.

Nothing will use the feedback it received for its beta Launcher to help it develop its NothingOS overlay for Android.

The launcher was previously confined to Samsung Galaxy S21 and S22 smartphones, as well as Google Pixel 5 and Google Pixel 6 smartphones, but with the latest update, it can now be tried on a wider range of Android devices running older Android versions.
