We discovered earlier today that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G will be available on February 17th. According to multiple sources, it will be a slight update to the previous Nord CE, and now a leakster provided an even more complete specs list.
Furthermore, the insider revealed that the next smartphone will receive two major Android updates and three years of security patches, but will ship with Android 11 pre-installed.
The 6.43″ display and 4,500 mAh battery from the Nord CE 1 will be carried over to the Nord CE 2. The new phone will, however, offer 65W SuperVOOC due to the Dimensity 900 chipset’s compatibility for quicker charging speeds. The gadget will be slightly heavier – 173 grams – but OnePlus will maintain a slim body with a 7.8 mm profile.
The 64MP primary camera, 16MP selfie camera, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the AMOLED panel are all confirmed by the current leak. Prices are estimated to range between INR24,000 ($315/€280) and INR28,000 ($370/€325), but we won’t know for sure until the launch on Thursday.
