Samsung will host this year’s second large-scale Unpacked event next month, announcing the launch of two new Galaxy Buds2 foldable smartphones and two new smartwatches. Although we did not expect the new Galaxy Note21 to arrive this year, it was initially speculated that the cheaper variant of the S21 series, the Galaxy S21 FE, will appear at the event.
According to a new report from LetsGoDigital, Galaxy S21 FE will not debut at the next Unpacked event. LetsGoDigital has seen Samsung’s official documents and confirmed that it has not announced a cheaper S21 variant.
This report only reproduces another June report, which states that S21 FE will not be announced at the event. We can only count on the cheapest flagship S in October or later.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to be equipped with a 6.4-inch FullHD + Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There will also be a plastic backplane and Android 11. This cheaper variant of the S21 is powered by Snapdragon. 888, but due to chip supply constraints, another variant of the Exynos 2100 chipset can supplement or replace the Snapdragon version. Galaxy S21 FE is available in gray, white, purple and green.
