Samsung Galaxy M22 To Support 25W Charging, Only Ship With 15W Charger

The Samsung Galaxy M22 isn’t new to the rumor mill as some of its specs leaked a while ago. But a fresh FCC certification is here to tell us that the phone is getting closer to launch and that it supports 25W fast charging.

Samsung Galaxy M22 to ship with 15W charger, will support 25W charging
However, there’s a catch. According to the listing, the device will ship with a 15W charger so you’d have to buy the 25W-rated charger from Samsung to take advantage of the fast charging. This is not the first time the manufacturer has shipped a phone with a lower-rated charger to cut on cost and the Galaxy M22 is a budget entry anyway.

So far, clues suggest that the Galaxy M22 will be based on the Galaxy A22 and will feature similar specs such as а 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, 90Hz refresh rate, 48MP main camera and 13MP selfie snapper. Perhaps the battery will be bigger – 6,000 mAh but we still don’t have any hard evidence on that.
