Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G Gets Android 12-based One UI 4 In The US

Last week, Samsung issued the Android 12-based One UI 4 update for the unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 4G in the United States, and now it’s the Galaxy Z Flip 5G’s turn.

The update is available for both unlocked and carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G devices. The firmware for the former is F707U1UEU2EUL9, while the firmware for the latter is F707USQS2EUL9.

Both releases include the normal Android 12 and One UI 4 niceties, as well as the December 2021 Android security patch, which is disappointing given that Samsung began sending out the February 2022 patch for its smartphones just last month.

If you live in the United States and haven’t yet gotten the update for your Galaxy Z Flip 5G, you may manually check it by going to Settings > Software Update.
