RAM is one of the most critical components of a smartphone, and manufacturers are already extending it via software upgrades. Samsung, following in the footsteps of certain Chinese OEMs, has introduced RAM Plus, a virtual memory extension function (check compatible device list below).
The virtual RAM extension functionality, which adds up to 4GB of additional space to the smartphone, was quietly released by the Korean tech giant. It’s worth noting that the Galaxy A52s received Samsung RAM Plus along with a fresh firmware update, allowing for RAM extension.
Following the Galaxy A52s, the RAM Plus feature could be expanded to more Samsung devices, allowing users to virtually boost RAM. This incredible function is currently only available on the Galaxy A52s, but we will update the list if Samsung expands it to other Galaxy devices.
