The Dimensity 9000 SoC Will Be Used By Realme

The Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8 Gen1 smartphones will be the two sorts of flagship smartphones available in the Android market next year. Snapdragon flagship processors have long been the preferred choice of numerous brands. With the Dimensity 9000, however, it appears that next year’s contest will be a two-horse race. Oppo, Vivo, Redmi, and other brands have announced that they will employ the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip upon its release. Furthermore, Realme’s vice president, Xu Qi, wrote a statement implying that the company will adopt Dimensity 9000 as well.

It’s worth noting that Realme is a “fan” of MediaTek processors. Realme debuted the Dimensity 1200 SoC in March of this year, which was the most powerful MediaTek flagship SoC at the time. This processor was debuted with the Realme Neo GT, which starts at 1799 yuan ($282). This smartphone’s beginning pricing is pretty reasonable.


Realme will undoubtedly release the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 terminal next year. The pricing of this premium smartphone is likely to surprise us.

When comparing the Dimensity 9000 to the Snapdragon 8 Gen1, it’s clear that each chip has its own set of advantages. While the Dimensity 9000 outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 in terms of CPU performance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 in terms of GPU performance. While the AI performance of the Dimensity 9000 is significantly better, AI is not a primary ranking criterion for processors. Temperature management looks to be the primary differentiator between these chips.

The flagship processor from Dimensity is the 9000.
The Dimensity 9000 chip contains a high-performance Cortex-X2 super-large core and is built on TSMC’s 4nm technology and Armv9 architecture. It also contains three Arm Cortex-A710 big cores (clocked at 2.85GHz) and four Arm Cortex-A510 energy-efficient cores. This chip also supports LPDDR5X memory, which has a transfer rate of up to 7500Mbps.


The flagship 18-bit HDR-ISP image signal processor is used in the Dimensity 9000. This technology allows three cameras to shoot HDR footage at the same time. In addition, the chip has a low power consumption rating. This chip has a high-performance ISP processor that can process up to 9 billion pixels per second. It also supports up to 320MP cameras and triple exposure for triple cameras. Dimensity 9000 is equipped with MediaTek’s fifth-generation Al processor APU. This generation is four times more energy efficient than the preceding one. For shooting, gaming, video, and other applications, it can give a high-efficiency AI experience. Dimensity 9000 has a mobile ray tracing SDK kit and employs an Arm Mali-G710 graphics processor in games. Arm Mali-G710 ten-core GPU, mobile ray-tracing graphics rendering engine, and support for 180Hz FHD+ display are among the features.
